Something is missing from my box

What to do when an item you ordered didn't arrive — and why substitutions happen.

Written by Monica Alameda

Missing items should be reported within 3 days of delivery, and we'll sort it out.

What to send us

A photo of the box and its contents as they arrived is the fastest path — it lets us see exactly what made it and what didn't. Chat with us here, email [email protected], or call (786) 758-4787.

Two things to check first

Did your order ship in more than one box? Larger orders sometimes travel separately and can arrive on different days. Your tracking will show multiple shipments if so.

Was an item substituted? We work with seasonal fruit from family farms, and once in a while a variety doesn't come in at the quality we'd want to send you. When that happens we swap in something comparable rather than delay your whole box. If you received something you didn't order, that's likely what happened — and if the substitution doesn't work for you, tell us and we'll make it right.

What we'll do

Depending on the situation, we'll send a replacement, issue a credit toward your next order, or refund the missing item. Let us know which you'd prefer.

Want to avoid substitutions?

Add a note to your order or reach out after placing it, and we'll flag your box as no-substitution. Just know it may mean a short delay while we wait for the fruit you asked for.

Arrived damaged instead of missing?

That's a different situation with a shorter window. If fruit arrived spoiled, moldy, or damaged, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo and we'll take care of it under the Arrive Fresh Guarantee.
